The last letter

Silent is the night,
But I fear it won’t last,
Waiting for the calm,
To be shattered by a blast,
So sad, so deplorable,
This heaven is now a hell,
I walk around clutching the death,
Waiting for dropping shells.

I look at the skies,
I feel so alone,
Thinking of you my love,
I wish I could be home,
I wish in were my arm,
Not death but my life,
I dread the fact that I may,
Never kiss you dear wife.

I walk along the fences,
The barbed wires say,
Your life is more bloodied,
Than we ever may,
And yes, you may have,
Love waiting back somewhere,
Tangled in our world of hate,
You’ll never feel that care.

I focus in the dark,
For shadows that may move,
My grip tightens on trigger,
But I still think of you,
Torn like a piece of paper,
Between this love and war,
I wish for you the smiles,
Ready to take the scars.

Oh there goes the enemy,
His canons breathing fire,
The deafening boom simply strokes,
All my hidden desires,
The sky is lightning up,
As I run to take cover,
If I come back in pieces,
Well I’ll still be your lover.

True love never dies

I do not know,
Why you cannot see,
I have returned,
Just to be with thee,
But I believe you have shut your eyes from my side,
I stand in front but you still don’t read my eyes.

Why can’t you feel?
The love in my breath,
I came back for you,
From my very own death,
But what I see is you are still mourning that day,
Your eyes swell up with tears as you lay flowers on my grave.

Though I shout to,
Tell I am alive,
My words fall dead,
In front of my eyes,
And I see you’ve shut your ears, can’t hear my soul,
I try to feel your heart, it is dying and cold.

I step back in fear,
I know why you don’t understand,
There is no air between us,
Like in love of sun and sand,
I stand here alone,
I have finally realized,
I can’t reach the sea in you,
I am a moon without a tide.

I still have faith left,
You’ll walk away from me,
The love in my sighs,
Will finally let you see,
And I will wait for the time you realize,
The place for you is to move on with life.

Till that moment comes,
When your face will bloom in smiles,
I will be your guardian,
As I leave my footprints behind.

Love before the gallows

"A lovers agony as he meets his love for last time before he is put to rest in the gallows"

Your voice is like a symphony,
Sweet and smooth like drops of honey,
I want you to pour it,
                      All on me.

Like an orchestra in unison,
Like the angels singing in heaven,
I am your fan,
                      Let me listen.

Keep speaking, keep speaking,
I just can’t stand the silence,
Listening to you speaking,
Makes me shun inner violence,
Your voice is like music,
Sending doves up in the sky,
Keep speaking, keep speaking,
I feel my wings, I will fly.

You won’t trust when I say,
I will never go away,
I will listen to your melody,
                           Night and day.

I grasp like a kid at every word,
They seem like my only world,
There is no poetry like this,
                          I have ever heard.

Keep speaking, keep speaking,
I just can’t stand this silence,
Listening to you speaking,
Makes me shun inner violence,
Keep speaking, keep speaking,
I want you to sing all night,
Your voice is the lullaby,
That I want to listen when I die.

Goodbye Love

Every time the wind blows in my face,
I feel the love we had, just blew away,
Every time I reach at a cross-road,
I see the time, we parted way.

Every day as I open the door for sun,
I feel our love being melted down,
Every time I step in for a shower,
I can see our love, getting drowned.

The love we had is a history,
Now all I see is my misery,
Relight my love, relight my life,
Before I am lost in a mystery.

Every time it rains, I check my eyes,
It reminds me of the time I broke,
Every song I hear, I hear your voice,
And then I hear the last words you spoke.

Every night I swim in the despair,
Every day I fear the life, I cry,
Every single moment I breathe in air,
I choke remembering your last good bye.

The love we had is a history,
Now all I see is my misery,
Good bye my love, good bye my life,
I just watch the death taste victory.

Court-Martialed

She ordered fire,
And I just waited,
For the bullets to,
Hit me hard.
I thought I knew her,
I was mistaken,
As the metal ran,
Through my heart.

And she smiled on my face,
Packed my tears and had them parceled,
She quipped what a fool I was,
As she ordered my court martial.

I was a soldier,
She gave me orders,
I risked my life to,
Play my part.
She acted as friend,
Left me so weakened,
I couldn’t fight as,
She broke my heart.

All it took was one mistake,
She had my feelings chopped and parceled,
Forgetting all that I did for her,
She cruelly ordered my court martial.
